the body is trained to produce tensions

S U S A N N A   S T O R C H

The German figurative artist, who since 2004 addressed the issue of dance, for the project "the body is trained to produce tensions", follow the Ballet Ensemble of the Opéra National de Bordeaux during rehearsals of Coppélia, working on the discipline, depth, hard work, leading to significant sign due ti the tension in the body.

Fruition: the public can not participate directly in the artistic event. The work of art is born in a time " other" and one "other", isolated, unreachable: the rehearsal room.

Creative act feminine. Born from a pregnancy that requires the time, natural processes cadenced by time.
